About Mark Orval

Originally from Hamilton in Country Victoria, I moved to Melbourne as a 16yo to fulfill my childhood dream of playing with the Collingwood Football Club. After 7 years and being fortunate enough to represent the club at the highest level that dream was cut short due to a severe foot injury, never to be able to play sport again at the tender age of 23. A Corporate career was beckoning, spending the next 30 years in various Senior Executive roles across several different industry sectors before receiving the call no-one ever wants to receive saying you have the big C back in 2021. Whilst the immediate challenges of what this call was all about was my focus this also made me reflect on life and what’s important. Throw in COVID and it was time for a life change…….Fast forward 2 years and I find myself doing what I have always wanted to do but never felt the time was right, Real Estate. I am now super proud to have completed the training and opening my own Real Estate business to service the needs of the broader Gold Coast region. I am not here to change the world but i want to make a difference and ensure that the Orval Real Estate experience is an experience you will remember.
